Our Approach to Wedding Photography

At Tom Gold Photography, we pride ourselves on our stylish, discreet, creative, and thoughtful approach to wedding photography. We believe in capturing the real events of your special day as they happen, along with a few loosely directed shots of the happy couple and a few formal family group shots. Our aim is to create a collection of beautiful, vivid photographs that tell the story of your wedding day with timeless style.

Professional Wedding Photography Services

Over the past fifteen years, we have established ourselves as a full-time professional wedding photography service based in London and the South East. With over 500 weddings under our belt, we have developed a distinct and timeless style that is both modern and classic. Our calm and unobtrusive approach ensures that we capture the events of your wedding day as they happen, using a reportage/documentary method of observational photography. We also offer loosely directed images and formal family photography where required.

Commercial Photography Services

In addition to our wedding photography services, we also offer commercial photography services. We have extensive experience in shooting content for the food and drinks industry, as well as interiors for architects and the hospitality industry. Our commercial photography services provide high-quality images for marketing, advertising, and print and web-based projects.

Wedding Venues

We have had the privilege of photographing weddings in many iconic venues, including St Paul's Cathedral (OBE Chapel), Drapers Hall, Merchant Taylors Hall, Skinners Hall, Drapers Hall, Greenwich Naval College, Eltham Palace, Westminster Town Hall (Old Marylebone Town Hall), Islington Town Hall, and many more. We also cover weddings throughout the UK and have worked at Blenheim Palace, Highclere Castle, Leez Priory, Pembroke Lodge, Preston Court, Hampton Court House, and dozens of other amazing venues across the country.

Equipment and Press

We use the very latest professional photographic equipment, combining Nikon D780 digital cameras with a range of fast prime and zoom Nikkor lenses. We also carry a full range of backup equipment to ensure that we are always prepared. Our work has been published in newspapers and magazines, including The Sunday Times, The Observer, Cosmopolitan, Hello! Magazine, You & Your Wedding Magazine, Mayfair Resident Magazine, Your London Wedding Magazine, and feature regularly in The Westminster Wedding Guide and many more.
